  • "SMS updates" means service-related text messages about bookings, quotes, payments, authorizations, task progress, completion, or support.
  • "AI-assisted intake" means optional beta tools, such as Handy Beta, that help organize typed or spoken request details into a booking draft for review.
  • "AI-assisted review" means internal tools that help Handled SA organize, summarize, draft, flag, or review request information for admin use.

Information Collected

We collect information you provide when you visit the website, create an account, sign in, submit an individual or guest booking, request business concierge support, request recurring support, request event support, request move-in support, use a client portal, communicate with support, upload request documents, or submit a review or testimonial.

We may also collect information automatically from your browser or device, and we may receive limited information from service providers that help us operate the website and complete requests.

  • Information you provide may include name, email address, phone number, business name, service address, pickup and drop-off addresses, apartment, unit, or suite details, task details, preferred date, preferred time or time window, recurring schedule details, item purchase instructions, spending cap and authorization preferences, over-budget instructions, support messages, uploaded receipts or documents, and reviews or testimonials you choose to submit.
  • If you use Handy Beta or another AI-assisted intake feature, information you provide may include typed request details, quick-select choices, preferred date and time window, urgency, support coverage, optional voice transcripts, and the structured draft created from those details.
  • Information collected automatically may include IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, interactions with the booking flow, cookie preferences, and analytics data if you consent to analytics cookies.
  • Information from third parties may include Stripe payment status and transaction details, Supabase authentication and account data, Google Maps address autocomplete and distance data, Resend email delivery status, Twilio SMS opt-in or delivery status when text updates are enabled, and speech-to-text or AI API results if you choose to use AI-assisted intake.

Payment Information

Stripe processes payments for Handled SA. We do not store full card numbers on our website or in our own database.

Service fees may be charged upfront. When a request includes item purchases, spending caps, reimbursement, or receipt-based item charges, Stripe may be used for pre-authorization, manual capture, final item charges, refunds, or related transaction handling.

Final item charges may be based on receipt totals and the authorization choices you provide. Stripe may process card, billing, fraud prevention, and transaction data under Stripe's own privacy policy.

How Information Is Used

We use information to operate Handled SA and provide operational support services.

  • Review booking requests, guest requests, account activity, business concierge requests, recurring support requests, event support requests, and move-in support requests.
  • Prepare quotes, confirm availability, coordinate runners, estimate distance and logistics, schedule work, and complete service requests.
  • Process payments, manage spending cap authorizations, review receipt totals, and handle payment, refund, or dispute-related records.
  • Send booking, quote, payment, status, reminder, support, and completion emails through email providers such as Resend.
  • Use phone numbers to send service-related SMS/text messages when you opt in or when legally allowed for active service communication.
  • Use AI-assisted intake to organize typed or spoken request details into structured fields, identify missing information, suggest an appropriate service tier for review, and prepare a request draft for admin review.
  • Maintain the client portal, admin portal, runner portal, internal admin tools, and service records.
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, unsafe activity, or violations of our terms.
  • Resolve disputes, respond to support messages, maintain business records, and comply with legal, tax, insurance, safety, and operational obligations.
  • Improve the website, booking flow, forms, portals, communications, and client experience.
  • Display approved testimonials or reviews if you submit them and give us permission to use them.

Data Sharing

Handled SA does not sell personal information. We share information only when reasonably needed to operate the business, provide services, protect rights and safety, or comply with obligations.

  • Runners or helpers assigned to, or being considered for, a task may receive the limited information needed to coordinate or complete the request.
  • Payment processors such as Stripe may receive payment, billing, fraud prevention, authorization, receipt, and transaction information.
  • Email providers such as Resend may process email content and delivery information.
  • SMS providers such as Twilio may process phone numbers, message content, opt-in status, delivery status, and carrier-related information needed to send service-related text updates.
  • Database, authentication, and hosting providers such as Supabase and website hosting providers may process account, portal, request, and operational data.
  • Analytics, cookie, and mapping providers may process limited website, preference, address, autocomplete, and distance estimation data when enabled or needed.
  • Legal, accounting, insurance, security, or professional advisors may receive information when needed for business, legal, tax, insurance, safety, or dispute-related reasons.
  • Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other authorities may receive information if required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or business operations.

Accounts, Guest Bookings, and Portals

Handled SA may support account creation, login, guest booking access, a client portal, an admin portal, and a runner portal. These tools help clients view or manage requests, help admins review and coordinate requests, and help runners access information needed for assigned work.

Guest booking links or tokens should be treated carefully because they may provide access to request details. Users are responsible for keeping account credentials and private access links secure.

SMS/Text Messaging

Handled SA may collect and use phone numbers to send service-related SMS/text messages. Texts may include booking confirmations, quote updates, payment reminders, item authorization reminders, task updates, completion updates, and support-related messages.

SMS is sent only when a client opts in or when legally allowed for active service communication. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out by replying STOP, and you may request help by replying HELP or contacting support@handledsa.com.

Handled SA does not sell phone numbers or SMS consent data. SMS consent is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies and similar tools for login, session security, booking flow continuity, portal functions, cookie preference storage, and payment-related pages.

With your permission, we may use analytics cookies to understand website usage, pages visited, and interactions with the booking experience. Declining analytics cookies should not block essential booking functions.

You can update cookie settings through site controls when available. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

AI-Assisted Intake and Admin Review

Handled SA may offer optional AI-assisted intake tools, including Handy Beta, to help clients organize typed or spoken request details into a booking draft. If voice input is used, audio may be processed through speech-to-text and AI services to create a transcript and structured request details.

Handled SA may also use internal AI-assisted tools to help organize request details, summarize tasks, flag missing information, estimate logistics, draft suggested client messages, and support admin review.

AI tools do not automatically approve, deny, price, assign, complete, confirm, or cancel requests without admin review. Handy Beta does not take payments and does not guarantee pricing, availability, runner assignment, or booking confirmation.

Please do not submit payment details, Social Security numbers, medical details, private account information, or unnecessary sensitive information in Handy Beta, booking forms, support messages, documents, or task details.

Children and Age Restrictions

Handled SA is not intended for anyone under 18. Users must be at least 18 years old to submit a request, create an account, book a service, authorize payments, or use the website services.

We do not knowingly collect, use, or process personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that information from someone under 18 was submitted, we may delete it and cancel any related request.

Data Retention

Handled SA may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, process payments, resolve disputes, comply with legal, tax, insurance, and safety obligations, prevent fraud, and protect business operations.

Some records may be retained even after a deletion request when retention is legally or operationally necessary, such as payment records, tax records, safety records, dispute records, fraud prevention records, or records needed to document completed services.

Your Privacy Requests

You may contact Handled SA to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information, updates to contact information opt-out assistance, or cookie preference assistance.

Requests may be limited when retention or continued processing is needed for legal, payment, tax, safety, fraud prevention, dispute, insurance, security, or recordkeeping reasons.

Security

Handled SA uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include access controls, account protections, provider security controls, operational procedures, and limited access to information based on business need.

No website, payment system, database, email system system, or online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep account credentials secure and contact support if they suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

Service Availability and Request Review

Submitting a request, creating an account, starting a booking, authorizing payment, or using a portal does not guarantee service acceptance, availability, timing, runner assignment, or final pricing. Requests are reviewed before confirmation.

Additional service terms may apply through our Terms of Service, booking flow, quotes, payment notices, or written communications.

Third-Party Services and Links

Handled SA may use third-party services for payments, authentication, database storage, website hosting, email, analytics, cookies, maps, address autocomplete, distance estimation, client support, and business operations. Current providers may include Stripe, Supabase, Resend, Google Maps, website hosting providers, and analytics or cookie tools when enabled.

The website may link to third-party services or websites. Handled SA is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or providers. Their own privacy policies and terms may apply.

Policy Updates

Handled SA may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date or last updated date.

Your continued use of the website or services after an updated policy is posted means the updated policy applies to later use and later information processing.
